i am adecendant of john martin and sarah dunn of abbeville ,sc. i am new to genalogy and have learned of the book by william bagwell"the martin family of abbeville district,sc" and would like to purchase a copy or locate one to read.i understand the book is out of publishing and hard to find. please advise if you are aware of locating the book.i know ther are a few in the abbevilleville,anderson area ,but i live in texas.thanks inadvance .frank martin

Frank. You're right, the book is out of print, two editions ('red' and 'green') published in late-70s and early-80s. The author W. 'Bill' Bagwell is no longer with us. This MARTIN family's reunion is held every two years, and is this August (Honea Path First Baptist on the 1st Sun. in Aug.). I hope to discuss the beginnings of an addendum publication at that time.
