Revolutionary War Roundtable June 26th

Thursday, June 17th, 2010

SCAR Fellows and friends of the Revolution:

We will hold our next Southern Campaigns Roundtable in Charleston, SC at the beautiful Old Exchange Building “OXB” (http://www.oldexchange.com) in the historic district on Saturday, June 26th. Our hosts are Mike Coker and Doug MacIntyre. This is a public invited event so send this email on to your fiends and colleagues. We will have plenty of space in the upstairs ballroom. Plan on joining us to start promptly at 10:00 am and we should wrap-up by 4:00 pm – we’ll stop at noon for a “Dutch Treat” lunch. Remember our Round Table is a participatory sport; you are invited to bring your research interest, questions, and show and tell for no-more than a 10 minute presentation. Each attendee will pay the normal OXB entrance fee of $8.00.

Page Updates

Thursday, October 9th, 2008

Just a housekeeping note to mention that I’ve made slight updates to the Oconee and Saluda County pages. Also, I’m going to start putting rss feeds from the respective forums into the county profile pages. So, the Union County page would have an rss feed with the latest posts from the Union county forum. I hope to do the same wiht all the pages evenutally, but currently I’ll just be highlighting the counties that already have forum posts. That should help give the posts a bit more visibility.

Counties that now have the rss feed – Aiken, Barnwell, Berkeley, Chester, Chesterfield, Clarendon, Darlington, Edgefield, Fairfield, Georgetown, Hampton, Kershaw, Laurens, Lee, Marlboro, Orangeburg, Sumter, Union, York and I’ve added the St. Andrews forum to the Charleston County Page.

–update 10/10 —
Also Dillon County has the feed from the Forums. (Also added forum feed and edits for Richland. Edits on Williamsburg County.)
