Blank Forms for Genealogy Research

On the old site I had 2 blank forms for you to download and print. For now those have been moved over to the new site. The only improvement is that I’ve transformed them into PDF files. The main advantage is the formatting should now be the same on ANY machine. The old forms may have been useless for many as they were Word Document format and the spacing varies by machine and printer. These new pdf’s should work for anyone. You will need to download and install a pdf viewer such as Acrobat Reader. This is a free download.

1850 and 1860 Census Form

The 1850/1860 census shared the same form. You can download a form to work from here. 1850 and 1860 census form (Right click and select save as to save it to your hard drive or a single left click to view if you have the appropriate viewer installed.)

1870 Census Form

You can download an 1870 census form to work from here. 1870 Census Form (Right click and select save as to save it to your hard drive or a single left click to view if you have the appropriate viewer installed.)

Blank 4 generation Ancestry Chart

Here is a new blank form as of February 8, 2008.

This is a Blank 4 generation Ancestry Chart in PDF format. It’s fairly simple, but gives you a place to jot down the Name, birth, death and marriage dates and locations for 3 generations and just birth, death dates and locations for the 4th generation. I’ve also included a place to note the spouse and marriage date of the first generation individual.

Blank Family Group Sheet

I’ve also uploaded a Blank Family Group Sheet that has a place for information on both parents and up to 10 children per page. There’s also a field to note which census years the family has been found in and years still needed to be searched.
